If you buy this listing today, we will take this image, and make it into a real drum for you.
We want to be transparent about the process. Our plan is to try to and re-create this image into a real life drum as faithfully as possible. However, because the image is a complete work of fiction- we will have to take some creative license where necessary to make the build possible.
We think we will be able to do a very accurate job of making this drum in real life. But we will need to make sure it conforms to the laws of physics, finishing techniques, and hardware options available to us.
This listing is a pre-order. That means if you buy it today, we will be building it from scratch for you.
That means you can choose the actual size (depth and diameter) of the shell. You can also pick the hardware color- gold, black nickel, or chrome. (Though if you want to stay true to the image we would be go with gold). Just message us your choices for these two options after purchase.
After you make the purchase, we will begin building the drum. It should take about 8 weeks. Once the drum is done, we will get it in the mail to you.
We're really excited about this whole process, and as far as we can tell this will be the first drum ever designed by A.I., and then brought to life by a drum company. It feels somehow historic, groundbreaking, and terrifying all at the same time. We genuinely can't wait to build this for you.
