Cherrywood is an ideal species for musical instruments, and it makes for an amazing drum. It is slightly softer than maple and has he beautiful dark and Musical voice. It performs very well throughout the full spectrum of tuning ranges from low and guttural, all the way to Piccolo High.

the hardware on this drum has been aged to make it look old, but still function flawlessly.it it features solid brass tube lugs, vintage style strainer, 42 strand wires, 2.3mm hoops, die cast air vent, die cast butt plate, and a die cast HHG badge. Every piece of hardware has a hand cut leather gasket between it and the shell.
