Introducing the HHG Brass Snare Drum!!
We are incredibly excited to debut this instrument! Like all of our other creations, this snare was made 100% in-house. We hand-rolled and welded the shell, then decided to go one step further by hand-rolling, welding, and creating our own custom hoops! A natural beauty, this snare received all gold hardware, including our HHG Signature Gear single-point lugs, a vintage style throw, die-cast air vent, HHG badging, and even gold tension rods!! This drum is incredibly powerful. But, the fun really begins when you take full control and discover how incredibly sensitive and articulate this snare drum is, whether played at gentle pianissimo volumes or aggressive double forte. The tone and crack is at the player's beck and call within any tuning range, available instantly whenever you need it to be there.
This drum is also available to be hand-engraved with any design or signature you desire, or left blank. The drum pictured was made and engraved specifically for Joe Marini, drummer for The Sun King Warriors. The drum in the photos and video is a 14x7, 3.2mm brass shell with handmade hoops. These drums are also available with a copper shell. They can come with either a 3.2mm or 5mm shell thickness- in either metal. They can also be built in any combination of depth and diameter listed in menu, and with any hardware color. If there's any custom options you don't see here, please feel to get in touch! We could do these with an aged patina, powdercoated green, different hardware, or really anything you can imagine!
